Application No. S/2012/0959 - Stuart Motors, Back Winstanley Road, Waterloo Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Head of Planning Services recommending that the above application for the erection of a detached dwellinghouse after demolition of the existing garagebe refused for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
RESOLVED:
That the recommendation be approved and the application be refused for the reasons stated or referred to in the report and in Late Representations.

Application No. S/2012/0975 - Bootle Cricket Ground, Wadham Road, Bootle Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Head of Planning Services recommending that the above application for the erection of retractable nets along part of Wadham Road elevation be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
Prior to consideration of the application, the Committee received a petition from Mr.Maitland on behalf of objectors against the proposed development and a response by the applicant’s agent, Mr. Clark.
RESOLVED:
That consideration of the application be deferred to enable the applicant to discuss possible suitable alternatives with residents.

Application No. S/2012/0550 - Land to the east of Damfield Lane, Maghull Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Head of Planning Services recommending that the above application for an Extra Care Development comprising a four storey 90 unit extra care housing facility with basement parking, a two storey 44 bedroom dementia / respite facility, 15 independent living lodges, landscaping, parking, access and enhancement of existing greenspacebe granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
Prior to consideration of the application, the Committee received petitions from Mss. Deegan, Rumsey, Hughes and Messrs. Jones and Bowe on behalf of objectors against the proposed development and a response by the applicant’s agents, Messrs. Nutter and Rain.
Councillor Hubbard, as Ward Councillor, made representations on behalf of objectors against the proposed development.
RESOLVED:
That the recommendation be approved and the application be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report and in Late Representations.
In accordance with paragrapgh 93 of Chapter 4 of the Consitiution, the following Councillors requested that their vote against the resolution above be recorded: Blackburn, Dodd, Hands and Robertson.

Application No. S/2012/0600 - Crown Speciality Packaging UK, Heysham Road, Netherton Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Head of Planning Services recommending that the above outline planning application including means of access for the erection of up to 97 dwellinghouses after demolition of existing factory be granted subject to the completion of a S106 agreement requiring the applicant to relocate to Trinity Park prior to commencement of the development and to pay a commuted sum contribution in association with the requirements of Sefton UDP Policies DQ3 and DQ4.
RESOLVED:

RESOLVED:
That consideration of the item be deferred to enable the applicant to submit a re-draft of the intial design.

RESOLVED:
That the report be noted.
