Exclusion of Press and Public
To consider passing the following resolution:
That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act. The Public Interest Test has been applied and favours exclusion of the information from the Press and Public.

People Directorate - Appointment of Head of Vulnerable People
The Committee will interview candidates for the post of Head of Vulnerable People in the People Directorate.
Copies of the timetable for the interviews, the job profile’s and the candidate application forms are attached.
Please note any appointment to the post will be subject to the consideration of any material or well founded objection to the appointment by Members of the Cabinet.
The Committee interviewed three candidates for the post of Head of Vulnerable People.
The Committee also considered documentation on the short-listed candidates complied by the Strategic Director – People and the Head of Corporate Personnel.
(1) Christina Wilkins, Deputy Director – Strategy and Service Transformation at NHS Sefton be appointed to the post of Head of Vulnerable People at a commencing salary of £81,879 per annum (Hay Senior Management 3); and
(2) the offer of appointment in (1) above be subject to the Head of Corporate Personnel notifying the Cabinet of the recommendation and ascertaining whether any Cabinet Member has a material or well-founded objection to the appointment.
