Description

The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) is a body that every Local Authority is required to set up as a requirement of the 1988 Education Reform Act to advise the Local Authority on religious education and collective worship in community schools and to monitor and support schools in these matters.

Three meetings are held per year – one each school term.
