To seek Cabinet approval of the Public Health Annual Report. The Public Health Annual Report is an independent annual report on the health and wellbeing of the Sefton population. It is an opportunity to identify key issues, celebrate success, flag up problems, report progress and, thereby, serve the local population. It will also be a key resource to inform local inter-agency action. This year’s annual report is centred on the wider determinants of health. This report will consider the root causes of health inequalities across Sefton, what actions are already being undertaken locally to address these issues, as well as recommendations for future actions. This year’s report will be generated in consultation with internal and external partners through a series of workshops.
