Report of the Head of Corporate Legal Services

Minutes:

The Council considered the report of the Head of Corporate Legal Services on the provisions of The Local Authorities (Standing Orders) (England) (Amendment) (Regulations) 2015 which came into force on 11 May 2015 and would require changes to be made to the Constitution with regard to the procedures for disciplining and dismissing statutory officers, which for these purposes are the Head of Paid Service (Chief Executive), the Section 151 Officer (Head of Corporate Finance and ICT) and the Monitoring Officer (Head of Corporate Legal Services).

 

It was moved by Councillor Maher, seconded by Councillor Fairclough

 

RESOLVED:

 

That approval be given to the changes to the Constitution as detailed in Paragraphs 1.10 to 1.18 of the report.
