Report of the Chief Legal and Democratic Officer

The Committee considered the report of the Chief Legal and Democratic Officer in relation to the most recent report of the Cabinet Member – Children, Schools and Safeguarding for the period June-September 2018. The report outlined information on the following:-

·         Appointment of Local Authority Governors;

·         Designated Teacher for Looked after Children;

·         High Needs Funding;

·         School balances on conversion to an academy;

·         Sand Dunes Nursery School;

·         SEND and the role of Schools; and

·         Children’s Social Care - demand and budget.

RESOLVED:

That the Cabinet Member update report be noted.
