Report of the Executive Director of Corporate Resources and Customer Services

Minutes:

 

The Cabinet considered the report of the Executive Director of Corporate Resources and Customer Services in relation to the Council’s current bulk print and mail arrangements and detailed a proposed procurement route for a new bulk print and mail contract.

 

Decisions Made:

 

That the Executive Director of Corporate Resources & Customer Services:

 

(1)

be authorised to conduct a procurement exercise for bulk print & hybrid mail services with a view to entering into a contract for a maximum period of 5 years comprising an initial 3 year period with an option to extend for up to 2 periods of 12 months; and

 

(2)

in consultation with the Cabinet Member for     Regulatory, Compliance and Corporate Services be granted delegated authority to award the Contract resulting from the procurement and to award any extension thereof.

Reason for the Decisions:

 

To have an appropriate and best value contract in place for bulk print and mail services provision.
