Report of Head of HR and Workforce.

The Committee considered the report of the Executive Director of Corporate Services and Commercial that recommended a Pay Policy for the Council as required by the Localism Act 2011. Following consideration of the report by the Committee, the report would be considered by the Council at the meeting to be held on 16 January 2025.

In order to comply with the Localism Act 2011, the Executive Director of Corporate Services and Commercial would be recommending the following to the Council on 16 January 2025:

(i)    The proposed Pay Policy as set out in the report be approved; and

(ii)   That any changes to the Pay Policy as required because of legislation are delegated to the Pay and Grading Committee.

RESOLVED:

That the Council be recommended to approve the proposed Pay Policy as detailed within the report.
