DC/2022/02201 - 61 Worcester Road, Bootle Report of the Chief Planning Officer Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Chief Planning Officer recommending that the above application for the change of use from existing dwelling (C3) to a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) (5 Person) (5 Units) and associated works be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
Prior to consideration of the application, Councillor Anne Thompson, as Ward Councillor, made representations on behalf of objectors against the proposed development and a response was received from the applicant.
Members discussed the proposal in detail and expressed concern at the effects of the development on neighbouring residents in what was already a densely populated area.
RESOLVED:
That the recommendation be not approved and the application be refused for the reason that the proposed development would have an adverse impact on neighbouring properties based on Policy HC4(2)b and NPPF para 130f.

DC/2022/01562 - Land Off South Atlantic Avenue, Bootle Report of the Chief Planning Officer Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Chief Planning Officer recommending that the above application for the installation of a 35 metre-high slimline lattice telecommunications tower accommodating 6no antenna apertures; 4no 600mm transmission dishes; 6no ground-based equipment cabinets; all within a fenced, secure compound; and ancillary development thereto be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.

DC/2022/01518 - Land North Of Lydiate Lane, Thornton Report of the Chief Planning Officer Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Chief Planning Officer recommending that the above reserved matters application pursuant to planning permission DC/2021/02670, approved 08/06/2022 for the construction of 268 dwellings providing details of appearance, layout, scale and landscaping, public open space, drainage and other associated works be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
RESOLVED:
That the recommendation be approved and the application be granted subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report and in Late Representations.

DC/2022/00938 - Land North Of Brackenway, Formby Report of the Chief Planning Officer Minutes: The Committee considered the report of the Chief Planning Officer recommending that the above application for reserved matters consent for appearance, layout, scale and landscaping for residential development (pursuant to Outline Planning application DC/2018/00093 granted 23/12/2021)be delegated for approval by the Chief Planning Officer subject to the conditions and for the reasons stated or referred to in the report.
