4.	Exclusion of Press and Public View the background to item 4. To consider passing the following resolution: That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act. The Public Interest Test has been applied and favours exclusion of the information from the Press and Public.
5.	Recruitment to the Post of Executive Director - Children's Social Care and Education View the background to item 5. The Committee will interview candidates for the post of Executive Director – Children’s Social Care and Education. Copies of the interview timetable, the job description / person specification, the candidate application forms and details of the proposed interview questions were distributed by the Senior Personnel Officer prior to the meeting. Please note that any appointment to the post will be subject to the consideration of any material or well-founded objection to the appointment by Members of the Cabinet.
