Report of the Strategic Director - People

Minutes:

Further to Minute No.76 of the meeting held on 18 January 2011, the Cabinet Member considered the report of the Strategic Director - People that sought determination on the proposal for the closure of St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School, Litherland.

 

This was a key decision and was included on the Council’s Forward Plan of Key Decisions.

 

RESOLVED:

 

That St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School, Litherland, be closed with effect from 31 August 2012.

Report of the Strategic Director - People

Minutes:

The Cabinet Member considered the report of the Strategic Director – People advising on the Capital Allocation for 2011/12 and seeking approval for the proposed schemes detailed in the report.

 

RESOLVED: That

 

(1)       the proposed schemes for various schools as detailed in the report be approved; and

 

(2)       the funding be included within the Children’s Services Capital Programme 2011/12.
