Minutes:
Further to Minute No. 29 of the meeting held on 9 September 2021 it had been agreed that key issues raised in the Community Safety Strategic Assessment be considered by the Board during 2021 as single agenda item meetings to allow for in depth discussion on that particular subject.
The third of these had been selected as Violence against Women and Girls and the Partnership considered the following reports detailing how individual partner organisations were dealing with this issue:

Arising from the discussion a number of issues were discussed which had arisen across a number of the reports.
Particular reference was made to comments raised by RASA in relation to input by Sefton and it was suggested that this needed to be investigated.
It was suggested that a statement on VAWG should be drawn up which members could consider and sign up to.
RESOLVED: That;
(1) the reports be noted;
(2) all organisations be thanked for the detailed and thorough reports provided;
(3) Simon Burnett and Andrea Watts be requested to investigate the issues raised by RASA; and
(4) A draft statement on VAWG be provided to the next meeting for consideration.
