Further to Minute No. 127 of the meeting of the Cabinet held on 29 March 2012, the Council considered the report of the Director of Corporate Commissioning on a proposal for the co-option of a non-voting member from Sefton Local Involvement Network (LINk), and a substitute member, to the membership of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee (Health and Social Care), following the approval of a draft Joint Working Protocol between the Committee and Sefton LINk.
This was a Key Decision and was included in the Council’s Forward Plan of Key Decisions.
It was moved by Councillor P. Dowd, seconded by Councillor Maher and
RESOLVED:
That approval be given to the amendment of the Council’s Constitution, to provide for the co-option of a non-voting member from Sefton Local Involvement Network (LINk) to the membership of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee (Health and Social Care), and provision also be made to permit a substitute co-opted member to attend meetings of the Committee, if necessary.
