The purpose of the report is to ask Cabinet to approve the development of an application for Coastal Communities and Funding (CCF); and that Cabinet delegates approval of the completed application to the Cabinet Member - Regeneration Tourism before the submission deadline which could be May or June 2013. Round 2 of the CCF is expected in March.
(Background - The CCF is designed to support the economic development of coastal communities by promoting sustainable economic growth and jobs. A briefing report will be prepared for Cabinet Member - Regeneration and Tourism on the process to be adopted and the costs and benefits for the Council.
