Procurement of Infection Control Services

To seek approval from Members to procure the provision of an Infection Control Service for Sefton; and for a contract extension of 3 months to allow for the procurement activity to be completed. The contract for the current Infection Control services is due to expire on the 31 March 2014 and it is intended to procure re-specified service. The current provider is Liverpool Community Health Trust. Members will be asked to approve the procurement and the process for procurement, including delegation of the decision to award contracts, following the procurement process, to the Director of Public Health
