To set the Council Tax for 2014/15 and to set the Council’s Revenue Budget for 2014/15. The Council is legally required to agree a budget for the forthcoming financial year (an indicative budget for 2014/15 was agreed at the Council meeting held on 28 February 2013). In addition, there is a legal requirement to set the Council Tax for the forthcoming year

A range of methods including face to face meetings, direct with groups (including under-represented groups), organisations and service providers. In addition, media releases, workshops with the general public and web based tools, such as e-consult have been used

A wide number / variety of organisations have been consulted (wef 11 October 2012) following the identification of revenue budget saving options for 2014/15. In addition, members of the general public, service users, providers of services and partner organisations and groups have been consulted. Should there be any need for additional saving options for 2014/15, this will also follow the above consultation process.
