Liverpool City Council have submitted a bid on behalf of the City Region. This will need to be formally accepted by the Council.
One Public Estate is a Local Government Association and Cabinet Office initiative, which aims to encourage, local government, central government and public sector partners to work together at a local level on land and property initiatives to deliver the four core objectives of:
• create economic growth
• more integrated and customer-focused services
• generate capital receipts
• reduce running costs.
Liverpool City Council have submitted an OPE bid on behalf of the city region and when an award is made Sefton MBC will need to accept it.
