The purpose of this report is to enable Cabinet to make decisions regarding the future procurement and contract arrangements of Fostering placements for children and young people. Since April 2014, wherever possible, fostering placements for children and young people have been procured through regional Framework Contracts. Regional work has been undertaken in 2017/18, to determine the best approach for procuring Fostering placements from April 2018
