Disposal of Heron House Waterloo

The Cabinet Member is asked to formally approve the Heads of Terms, which have been agreed for the disposal of the Council’s freehold reversionary interest in Heron House Waterloo and authorise the Chief Legal and Democratic Officer to finalise sale contracts and conclude the transaction.

Agents acting for the Lessee contacted the Council and set out a preferred strategy to combine the freehold and leasehold interests and dispose of the asset to enable a residential conversion to serviced apartments. Officers have agreed the basis of a deal and Cabinet Member approval is now sought to enter into contracts to conclude the sale.
