To inform Cabinet of the decision by the governing bodies of:
Lander Road primary School Litherland joining the Great Schools
Trust; The Grange Primary School Netherton joining the Lydiate
Learning Trust; Our Lady of Walsingham, Netherton, Our Lady of
Lourdes, Birkdale, St Edmunds and St Thomas, Waterloo and St Mary's
Catholic Primary School Crosby joining Pope Francis Catholic Multi
Academy Trust; and Trinity St Peters, Formby, joining All Saints
Multi Academy Trust in accordance with statutory requirements and
seek authorisation for officers to sign the documentation required
by the academy conversion process.
The Regional Director for the Department of Education has indicated
that the date of conversion will be 1st September 2024.
Linacre Primary School Bootle and Linaker Primary School Southport
will be converting with an identified academy sponsor. The Regional
Director for the Department of Education has indicated that the
date of conversion will be 1st June 2024.
