Southport Eastern Access and Maritime Corridor Major Schemes - Land Acquisition

This report seeks Cabinet Members approval to progress with the acquisition of land necessary to complete works associated with the above highway improvement schemes including the making of a Compulsory Purchase Order for both scheme. Whilst every effort is being made to acquire the land and other interests by negotiation it is considered necessary to make a compulsory purchase order to acquire those areas which are necessary to achieve the works should negotiations not be successful
